Lumix DMC-FS3 and Bubble Bath

It’s saturday morning and Mike is now gone to a photographers meeting. What to do? I have not even taken a shower yet but I am thinking about a nice warm bath with bubbles and oils.
I say this because I’m thinking about buying a point and shoot camera for myself. I want the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FS3 because it has an aperture range of 2.8 / F8.0 and can record video with a 16:9 aspect ratio -and because I’m a snob and want a cam with a Leica lens. I think it could be great for me to bring it everywhere and for example show you what I do in my bath
The reasoning behind the 200$ point and shoot cam is that I’m a little clumsy and Mike would tear my head apart if something would happen to his D90…

You should get the Lumix LX-3 instead. It’s the “pro” version of this one. Also has a leica, but it’s an f2.0 and has a wider angle lens (24mm). Perfect for low light. It also does movies in 1080p 16:9. Furthermore it has all the manual functions so that you can develop your photographing skills. It’s more expensive though ($500) but well worth it!
Thanks for the info, this just might be my next purchase. I have an Olympus 1030 water/shock proof, but doesn’t do much for video.
I would rather drop 149$ US in the bathtub then 500$… but then again, I haven’t bought it yet and might change my mind. Thank you for the info, I like the “Perfect for low light” point :p
We will see, I’ll keep you posted.
Hmmmmmmmm….Valerie in a warm bubble bath…..who cares about the camera!
I do not know about the quality of Panasonic but i know that H Series of Sony make pretty nice picture quality.
Buy it.
How about something like Olympus Mju 1030 SW, you could make a pictures inside bathtub…
I think I’m going to stick to the Lumix
